Despite competing with just five swimmers, the Bullets scored 123 points and placed 12th among 54 schools that scored a point at the NCAA Division III Championship from March 18-21 in Shenandoah, Texas, tying the best finish in program history at a national meet. For the week, the Bullets earned All-America honors in six of their nine events, collecting First Team All-America recognition in five events by virtue of their top-eight finish. A pair of national runner-up performances highlighted the meet for Gettysburg, and the 200-freestyle relay team of senior Jason Potter, senior Mike Harmon, freshman Tyler Dougherty, and senior Ashton Leyens led the race from start to finish before Kenyon College just out-touched the Bullets at the wall by three-hundredths of a second. Potter also claimed national runner-up honors in the 50-freestyle while the same four placed third in the 400-freestyle relay. In addition, Potter was seventh in the 100-freestyle, the 200-medley relay team of Harmon, Dougherty, junior Tyler Gould, and Potter placed eighth, and the 400-medley squad of Harmon, Dougherty, Gould and Potter came in 14th to capture All-America Honorable Mention. Gettysburg also broke or reset seven school records, including five that were also Centennial Conference standards.
