Gettysburg College Athletics

Hinds broke the meet record and tied the school record in winning the discus at the Little Three Meet at Dickinson College, helping the Bullets to a close second-place finish. With a launch of 156-3, he equaled the Gettysburg standard originally set by Glenn Cain '07 in 2005 and bettered the former meet record of 155-1 that was set by Gettysburg's John Heller '07 in 2007. Hinds also placed fifth among 14 athletes in the shot put with a throw of 40-11, helping the Bullets finish just two points behind Franklin & Marshall College for the team title.
