Davis shattered the meet record in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at the Gettysburg Mason-Dixon Invitational. He won the event with a time of 9:40.14 - nearly 11 seconds better than the previous mark set by McDaniel's Matt Rouse in 2007 – while helping the Bullets place second among 11 teams. His time also makes him the second-fastest Bullet in school history in the event behind All-American Ed Riggs '77, who set the school record in 1977.
