Freshman Quinn Merrigan powered through a strong debut season for the Bullets' wrestling team. Merrigan paced the team in wins (22), falls (7), escapes (63), and reversals (31) while serving as the team's top wrestler at 149 pounds. His win total was the best by a Gettysburg first-year in three seasons. Merrigan won each of his first two collegiate matches by decision and he recorded five consecutive pins at one point in the year. He was Gettysburg's top performer at regionals, winning a pair of decisions before being eliminated in overtime.
