Potter capped an outstanding career for the Bullets with a phenomenal senior campaign. At the NCAA Division III Championship in Shenandoah, Texas, he claimed All-America honors in each of the six events in which he competed, helping Gettysburg tie its best national finish in program history with a 12th-place showing. Potter finished as the national runner-up in the 50-freestyle and swam on the 200-freestyle relay and 400-freestyle relay that claimed a silver and bronze, respectively. Earlier in the season, he led the Bullets to their fifth-consecutive Centennial Conference title, claiming gold medals in all seven events in which he swam. Potter, who also helped Gettysburg to an undefeated dual-meet season (9-0), closes out his career with seven school records, six Centennial Conference records, and a program-record 18 All-America awards.
