Freshman Paul Triandafilou finished fifth at the NCAA Division III Wrestling Championship on March 11-12. Triandafilou competed six times at the event, winning four of his matches with his only losses coming to the third and fourth-place finishers. He won two contests in overtime and earned a 5-1 decision in the fifth-place match to become the first Gettysburg heavyweight to earn All-America recognition. Triandafilou is the first Bullet first-year to gain national status since Bob Ortenzio '79 in 1976. He closed the year sporting an overall record of 30-4.
