Cavanaugh became Gettysburg's third women's track and field All-American by finishing sixth among 17 competitors in the 60-meter hurdles at the NCAA Division III Indoor Championships at Grinnell College in Iowa. Making her fourth appearance at an NCAA Championship, she ran the two fastest races of her career at the meet and clocked a school- and Centennial Conference-record time of 8.77 seconds in the final.
