Sophomore Colin Kowalski captured his first collegiate title at the Messiah Petrofes Invitational on Dec. 3. Kowalski ran the table in the 157 bracket and opend with a fall and two major decisions. In the semis, he logged a 3-1 win over a national qualifier from last season. Paired against the No. 5 wrestler in the country in the championship match, the Gettysburg sophomore went seven scoreless minutes before earning a win by injury default. Kowalski is 15-2 this season and has not lost to a Division III foe.
