Sophomore heavyweight Paul Triandafilou secured his second-straight bid to the NCAA Division III Championship with a runner-up finish at the East Regional on Feb. 24-25. Triandafilou scored a major decision (11-3) in his first bout before recording back-to-back one-point decisions. The sophomore nearly upset the top-ranked wrestler in the country in the final before falling in overtime 3-1. Triandafilou, who placed fifth at nationals last season, will carry 27-2 record into the NCAAs.
