GETTYSBURG, Pa. – Five players notched at least seven kills as the Gettysburg College volleyball team took care of business in a non-conference match against Susquehanna University, sweeping the Crusaders out of Bream Gym 25-21, 25-18, 25-23 on Wednesday night. 
Gettysburg (14-7) halted Susquehanna's (17-10) nine-match winning streak behind a well-rounded effort on the attack. Junior 
Nicole Burns (Horsham, Pa./Hatboro) led the way with eight kills and seniors 
Kristina Mercier (Baltimore, Md./Mount de Sales Academy) and 
Stephanie Rickabaugh (West Chester, Pa./Henderson), junior 
Kate Yoder (Emmaus, Pa./Emmaus), and sophomore 
Virginia Hogan (Alpharetta, Ga./Chattahoochee) each turned in seven kills. 
Senior 
Amanda Krampf (Gaithersburg, Md./Gaithersburg) recorded her third-straight 30-assist outing with a match-high 32, adding four kills and 15 digs. Senior 
Kristin Kotewicz (Columbia, Md./River Hill) led the defensive effort with 18 digs and Mercier put up 11. 
The Bullets' service game was on target as the team finished with 10 aces, half coming from Mercier and the rest coming from Rickabaugh (three) and Kotewicz (two). Rickabaugh chimed in on the net with four block assists and Burns added three blocks. 
Lindsey Jankiewicz led Susquehanna with nine kills and Kelly O'Brien totaled 23 digs. 
Gettysburg returns to its Centennial Conference schedule on Saturday, Oct. 17, by hosting Washington (Md.) College at 1 p.m.
