GETTYSBURG, Pa. – Junior Giuseppe Bua scored the game's only goal in the 86th minute and Franklin & Marshall College defeated Gettysburg 1-0 in a Centennial Conference men's soccer match Wednesday evening at Clark Field.
Making his second collegiate start, freshman

The closest the Dips came to scoring in the first half was in the 41st minute, when Eric Elicker had his shot from 20 yards out ring off the right post. The Bullets finished with a 6-5 edge in shots in the opening period.
Gettysburg received a great look less than a minute into the second half, but sophomore

F&M threatened in the 60th minute, when Matt Krantz found himself one-on-one with the goalie in the right corner of the box, but his point-blank shot was snuffed out by Hahn.
The action picked up late in the game, as the two teams combined for nine shots over a 17-minute stretch late in the game. Hahn made all four of his saves in the second half, but Gettysburg managed only one shot on goal in the final 45 minutes.
