GETTYSBURG, Pa. – Eight different Bullets scored a goal as the Gettysburg College field hockey team cruised to an 11-0 victory over Bryn Mawr College in Centennial Conference action Saturday afternoon at Shirk Field at Musselman Stadium.
Gettysburg (5-6, 3-2 CC), which raced to a 6-0 halftime lead, received two goals and one assist from freshman
Ashleigh Guise in her collegiate debut. Freshman
Erica Barbuto and sophomore
Emily Kleinburd added two goals apiece while freshman
Lexie Stephan, sophomore
Caroline Clark, and sophomore
Kelly Madden notched one goal and one assist apiece. Stephan and Madden each scored their first collegiate goal.
Bryn Mawr (0-9, 0-6 CC), which was outshot 47-1, received 17 saves from Faith Westdorp.

Molly Burton put the Bullets on the scoreboard four and a half minutes into the contest, and it would remain a 1-0 game before the hosts erupted with five goals over an eight-minute stretch late in the half. Barbuto and Kleinburd tallied both of their goals during the run.
Gettysburg outshot Bryn Mawr 32-0 in the opening period.
The Bullets scored on four of their 15 shots in the second half, getting two goals from Guise and one apiece from Stephan, Clark, and Madden.

Gettysburg returns to action on Tuesday, when it visits third-ranked Messiah College at 7 p.m. in a non-conference affair.
