GETTYSBURG, Pa. – Sixth-ranked Gettysburg and fourth-ranked Franklin & Marshall College each picked up victories on Saturday to set the stage for another epic battle in the Centennial Conference next week. The Bullets took care of business against Bryn Mawr College with a 22-0 decision at Clark Field, while the Diplomats defeated Washington (Md.) College 19-5.

Gettysburg (13-2, 7-0 CC) recorded its second shutout this season and the ninth in school history by holding Bryn Mawr (0-12, 0-7 CC) to just one shot. The Bullets celebrated Senior Day with 11 players reaching the scoring column, including six of the team's 10 seniors.

Each of the first seven goals of the game were scored by seniors as Erin Cushing (Alexandria, Va./Bishop Ireton) started the train just 30 seconds in. The Bullets' lead reached 10 on a Lexie Hearn (Old Greenwich, Conn./Greenwich) goal at 21:13.

Gettysburg entered the break with a 17-0 lead. The Bullets slowed the pace in the second half and scored five more times on eight shots, with senior Nicole Ditillo (Baldwin, Md./Fallston) and freshman Alex Casey (Jenkintown, Pa./Abington) each tossing in their first collegiate goals.

Cushing, Hearn, senior Nina Emala (Baltimore, Md./Bryn Mawr), and freshman Katie Levy (Baltimore, Md./Friends School) each tossed in three goals for Gettysburg. Freshman Lindsey Robinson (Potomac, Md./Holton-Arms) dished out a career-high five assists and posted five caused turnovers.

Senior Kristen Krammer (Woodbine, Md./Glenelg), juniors Laura McIntyre (Glenmoore, Pa./Coatesville) and Laura Block (Leesburg, Va./Foxcroft School) and sophomore Maddie Coleman (Lexington, Va./Rockbridge County) combined for the shutout in the Bullet goal, with Block making the save on Bryn Mawr's only shot.

Gettysburg and Franklin & Marshall meet again with the rights to host the Centennial Conference Tournament on the line. The Bullets and Diplomats have met with perfect conference records every season since 2003. The teams have combined for the last eight conference titles, with F&M sitting as the three-time defending champions.

The two national powers will meet on Wednesday, April 21, under the lights at Clark Field. Game time is 7 p.m.
