Biography


A smart, quick goalkeeper with an outstanding work ethic...Has the ability to be a threat inside and outside the cage...Possesses great hand-eye coordination and quickness...Will be the key to Gettysburg’s transition game...Ranks top 10 in school history in both ground balls (10th, 166) and saves (6th, 376). 

2009: Named to the all-conference team for the second year in a row as a second-team selection...Finished second in the conference with GAA of 8.48 and was fifth in save percentage at 47 percent...Ranked 11th in DIII in GAA...Started all 19 games played...Posted 10 or more saves five times, including 13 against No. 20 Elizabethtown...Tallied 44 saves in five postseason games...Stopped 10 shots against No. 4 TCNJ in national regional finals...Also led Bullets with 57 ground balls...Tabbed CC Defensive Player of the Week twice and was named ECAC Metro/South Player of the Week. 

2008: Copped All-Centennial Conference Honorable Mention at goalie...Finished 16th in the nation in goals against average (9.08)...Led the Bullets with 46 ground balls...Started 17 contests and finished with a record of 13-4 with all losses to nationally-ranked teams...Saved 45.2 of the shots she faced...Tallied a season-high 10 saves four times, including against nationally-ranked Middlebury and TCNJ...Allowed a season-low two goals while making 10 saves against Roanoke, leading CC Defensive Player of the Week honors. 

2007: Won the starting job at goalkeeper and went on to 19 appearances with 17 starts...Ranked 11th in NCAA Division III with a 7.66 goals against average...Also ranked second in the Centennial Conference in goals against average...Saved 50 percent of shots faced, fifth in the CC...Tied for the team lead with 63 ground balls and caused 10 turnovers...Posted 10 or more saves in six games, including each of the five postseason contests...Made a career-high 15 saves and scooped up 10 ground balls against top-ranked Franklin & Marshall in the CC title game...Posted a combined 22 saves in the NCAA regional against Trinity (Conn.) and Hamilton. 

High School: Played lacrosse and soccer and ran track at Glenelg High School...Helped her lacrosse team to a state championship and garnered Academic All-America recognition...Served as team captain of the lacrosse team and landed all-county distinction.
