SERIES NOTES
The Bullets hold a 30-6-1 lead in the all-time series that dates back to 1898. Gettysburg has won five of the nine meetings during its current stretch with the Dutchmen, but LVC has claimed four of the last six contests. The Orange & Blue is seeking its first win in Annville since 2002, with the Dutchmen capturing the last three meetings at Arnold Field.

LAST MEETING
Matt Flynn '10 passed for 386 yards and three touchdowns while nearly willing the Bullets to a stunning second-half comeback, but a big Lebanon Valley first half was too much to overcome as Gettysburg dropped a wild 47-42 decision in the season opener for both teams at Shirk Field at Musselman Stadium. The two teams combined for 974 total yards, with the Bullets outgaining the Flying Dutchmen 581-393. Gettysburg trailed 41-14 at halftime and 41-21 heading into the third quarter before scoring on its final three drives. After their final touchdown of the game – a 15-yard pass from Flynn to tailback Jamel Mutunga with 1:48 remaining – the Bullets had a chance to regain possession, but an onsides kick was recovered by the Dutchmen. With Gettysburg out of timeouts, LVC was able to run out the rest of the clock. Charlie Parker rushed for 129 yard and two touchdowns on 21 carries for the Valley while Joe Brennan caught five passes for 114 yards and two additional TDs.

TUNING UP
The Bullets participated in a scrimmage at Lycoming College on Friday and lost by a 20-19 count to the Warriors. Leading the way for Gettysburg was senior Mike Barrett, who nailed all four of his field-goal attempts. Scoring the Bullets lone touchdown was senior receiver Brian Betley, who hauled in a pass of over 50 yards from junior Kyle Whitmoyer.

LAST SEASON
Gettysburg is coming off a 2009 campaign in which it finished 3-7 and 3-5 in the Centennial Conference, tying for fifth in the standings.
