The Betley File: Team co-captain and a two-year starter…An athletic receiver with great leaping ability…Enters the season ranked sixth in school history in receiving yards and ninth in receptions…Also one of the top punters in the Centennial Conference. 

2009: Named First Team All-Centennial Conference as a punter…Led the team in receptions and receiving yards…Finished seventh in the Centennial in both categories…Also led the conference in punting average with 37.7 yards per attempt, the best by a Bullet since 2000…Hauled in a career-high seven catches against Lebanon Valley and Hampden-Sydney…Racked up 96 receiving yards on five catches to go with two touchdowns at Ursinus…Also grabbed five balls for 92 yards and a pair of TDs versus McDaniel…Punted for a career-high 260 yards (43.3 ypp) at Hampden-Sydney, including a season-long 61-yarder...Did not allow any return yards on seven punts against McDaniel,  including three fair catches and two touchbacks. 

2008: Led the team with four touchdown receptions…Finished with 22 catches for 402 yards…Made a career-high five receptions for 90 yards, including a career-long 60-yard touchdown catch, against Johns Hopkins…Saw limited time at punter due to an injury, but averaged 43.4 yards on seven punts for the season…Had a career-long 65-yard punt against Dickinson. 

2007: Made eight receptions for 165 yards while playing in 10 games…Had a season-high four catches against Dickinson…Hauled in three passes for 98 yards, including his first collegiate touchdown on a 43-yard reception, at Franklin & Marshall…Was also the team’s backup punter and averaged 47.8 yards on four punts…Had a team season-long 60-yard punt against Moravian. 

High School: Two-sport athlete at Lenape High School…Was a wide receiver, safety, and punter on the football team and a shooting guard on the basketball team…Earned all-conference, all-county, and all-district honors in football while serving as a team captain for head coach Greg Harvey…Served as student council president and was a Brooks-Irvine Scholar-Athlete. 

Personal: Born Dec. 21, 1988...Son of Joe and Brenda Betley...Father was an Academic All-America basketball player at Bentley College, where he is a member of the school’s Athletic Hall of Fame…An economics major.
