ALLENTOWN, Pa. – Muhlenberg poured in 13 shots and three goals in the second half to finish off visiting Gettysburg College 4-0 in Centennial Conference men's soccer action Saturday night.
Gettysburg (2-5, 1-1 CC) dropped its fifth consecutive regular-season decision to Muhlenberg (5-0-2, 1-0-1 CC), its longest current skid against any conference opponent. The Mules finished with a 22-9 shot advantage with Cody Antonini pouring in nine shots and scoring twice.

Muhlenberg dialed in early in the second half behind the play of leading scorers Antonini and Danny Way. Way put in a pair of scores less than six minutes apart, the first assisted by Antonini at 55:51 and the second assisted by Ryan Barlotta at 61:06. Antonini added the match's final goal and his fourth career score against the Bullets with a lefty shot in the 74th minute.
Gettysburg tried to answer the Mules' run several times in the final period but all four shots on goal were smothered by Daniels as part of his first complete shutout of the season.

Brian Sugarman (Middletown, N.J./Christian Brothers Academy) also recorded two shots.
Gettysburg returns to the pitch on Wednesday, Sept. 29, with a Centennial road trip to Franklin & Marshall College. The match is set to start at 7 p.m.
