ST. MARY'S CITY, Md. – The Gettysburg College racked up 26 service aces en route to a pair of clean sweeps at St. Mary's (Md.) College on Saturday. The Bullets easily handled Hood College 25-10, 25-19 and 25-15 before taking out the hosts 25-21, 25-16, and 25-19.
Gettysburg (12-6) dominated Hood (5-8) with its serve as the Bullets racked up a season-high 15 aces. Senior
Virginia Hogan accounted for more than half the total, posting a career-high eight aces and nearly pulling off a triple-double with 10 kills and nine digs.

Katie McConville logged seven kills without a hitting error.
Gettysburg added 11 aces in the finale with sophomore
Lizzy Kuhn posting four to go along with 26 assists and 11 digs. Kuhn also dished out 29 assists against Hood.
Hogan once again led the offense with 11 kills and added 14 digs. Bracken and McConville each posted seven kills and Rubenstein put up 17 digs.
Gettysburg returns to its Centennial Conference schedule on Tuesday, Oct. 4, for a road trip to Haverford College. The match is set for a 7 p.m. start.
