Box Score
ANNVILLE, Pa. – Senior
Megan Bernstein broke the school record for career defensive saves, but the Gettysburg College field hockey team fell by a 4-1 decision at Lebanon Valley College in non-conference action on Thursday.
The Flying Dutchmen (5-4) never trailed after racing out to a 3-0 halftime advantage. But Bernstein helped the Bullets (3-4) stay within striking distance by making all three of her defensive saves in the second stanza, including two in the final 2:09. Her final d-save gave her 13 for her career, one more than the previous record set by Michelle Marsnick '08 from 2004-07.
Senior
Sarah Cole made it a two-goal game when she scored nine-and-a-half minutes into the second half. However, it would remain a 3-1 for nearly the rest of the way before LVC added a goal with 24 seconds left.

Megan Feeg, who started, and sophomore
Alexis Bralow split the time in goal, with each making five saves. Bralow's day was highlighted by a sprawling stick-save on a penalty stroke.

The Bullets resume their schedule on Saturday, when they visit Haverford College at noon in a Centennial Conference game.
