GETTYSBURG, Pa. – Gettysburg hasn't had a lot of luck in five-set matches this season, but that changed on Wednesday night at Susquehanna University as the Bullets rebounded from a 2-0 deficit to defeat the Crusaders 3-2 in a non-conference volleyball match up.
Gettysburg (12-10) had been 0-4 in five-set affairs this fall. On Wednesday, the Bullets fell behind early as Susquehanna (12-15) jumped out with 25-20 and 25-17 victories in the opening two sets. The visitors pulled out a 26-24 victory in the third to turn the tide and sealed the win with 25-19 and 15-11 decisions in sets four and five, respectively.

Katie Wilson posted her fourth 30-dig effort of the season with a career-high 38 at Susquehanna. She also served five aces. Junior
Kelly Milione added 17 digs and freshman
Hannah Bentz logged 14 digs.
Sophomore
Cydney Bracken notched a season-high 18 kills to go with 11 digs. Junior
Courtney Cyr posted 11 kills and a pair of solo blocks, while classmate
Sarah Gorski recorded six kills and five total blocks.

Kate DeLess combined for 35 assists in the victory.
Gettysburg turns its attention back to its Centennial Conference schedule with Bryn Mawr College on the docket for Saturday, Oct. 13, at noon.
