ALLENTOWN, Pa. – Gettysburg battled host Muhlenberg College to a scoreless tie in the first half, but the Mules registered a pair of second-half goals and topped the Bullets 2-0 in a Centennial Conference men's soccer match Saturday evening.

Facing 25 shots, junior goalie Connor Darrell finished with seven saves for Gettysburg (6-8-1, 1-5-1 CC).

Muhlenberg (10-4, 4-3 CC) struck just 41 seconds into the second half, when Cody Antonini tapped in a cross from Jeff Reinhart for his 13th goal of the season. It would remain a 1-0 game until the 64th minute, when Jonathan Schauer added an insurance tally for the Mules following a free kick.

Danny Pinto made six saves for the Muhlenberg, which finished with advantages in shots (25-14) and corner kicks (9-7).

The Bullets finish their season with a pair of Centennial Conference games next week, starting with a 7 p.m. match at Franklin & Marshall College on Wednesday.
