GETTYSBURG, Pa. – The Gettysburg College field hockey team suffered its first loss of the season, falling 4-0 to seventh-ranked Catholic University in a non-conference game Tuesday afternoon at Shirk Field at Musselman Stadium.
Maura Campbell and Kim Hermann notched one goal and one assist apiece for the Cardinals (4-0), who received four goals from four different players. Catholic outscored the Bullets 3-0 in the first half.

Megan Feeg made seven saves in goal for Gettysburg (4-1).
Ellie Banzolzer scored with 13:02 left in the first half for Catholic, tipping home a shot from Campbell on a corner pass from Taylor Elliott. Campbell added a penalty-stroke goal with 6:15 left in the period before Hermann scored off a deflected defensive save by Gettysburg's
Lexie Mowery.
Colleen Harwood set the final score for the Cardinals when she struck from five yards out with 7:58 remaining.
Catholic finished with advantages in shots (19-5) and corners (7-3). Megan Comunale made one save to earn the shutout for the Cardinals.
The Bullets play their second top-10 team in as many games on Saturday, when they host eighth-ranked Ursinus College in their Centennial Conference opener starting at 4:30 p.m.
