Men's Soccer vs. Dickinson Gallery
GETTYSBURG, Pa. – Dickinson College scored three times in the second half to push past Gettysburg College 4-0 in Centennial Conference men's soccer action on Clark Field Saturday night.
Dickinson (8-1-1, 3-0-1 CC), ranked 20th in the latest national poll, tallied the match's first score in the 12th minute as Kyle Schwab crossed a ball in front of the cage to Nicolas Tierno who placed the shot in the net's lower-left corner.

Tyler Shaffer posted Gettysburg's (3-5-1, 0-2-1 CC) only shot on goal of the opening period just four minutes later, heading a free kick into the arms of Dickinson goalie Cody Hickok. Junior goalie
Connor Darrell posted three stops over the final 16 minutes of the first stanza to preserve the one-goal deficit.
The hosts came out firing to start the second half with six shots in the first 19 minutes. The last by sophomore
Will Gately was on target, but was picked off by Hickok before finding the back of the net.
Just 50 seconds after Gately's shot attempt, the Red Devils countered up the field with Javier Mena slicing a pass through the defense to Shepherd Waldenberger for a goal at the 65-minute mark. Mena would connect on a penalty-kick goal six minutes later to set the score at 3-0.
Dickinson would cap the scoring in the 76th minute with Braeden Kelly touching home a loose ball in front of the cage.
The Red Devils finished with a 16-9 advantage in shots, while the Bullets led in corner kicks 4-2.
Shaffer finished with three shots and Darrell posted six saves for the hosts.
Gettysburg returns to the soccer field with a non-conference contest at Goucher College on Wednesday, Oct. 3, at 7 p.m.
