OPENING KICKOFF
The Bullets look to snap a three-game losing streak as they host the Dickinson College Red Devils on Saturday in a Centennial Conference affair and the battle for the Little Brown Bucket, which was first presented in 1938 by trustees of the two schools. Game time is set for 1 p.m. at Shirk Field at Musselman Stadium.

QUICK HITS
1. Gettysburg enters the contest ranked 18th in Division III in total offense (484.4 ypg) and 33rd in rushing offense (228.0 ypg).

SERIES HISTORY
Gettysburg holds a 41-35-2 lead in the all-time series that started in 1892. The Bullets are seeking their first home win over Dickinson since 2005.

LAST TIME OUT
Moravian outscored Gettysburg 20-7 in the second half and the Greyhounds handed the Bullets a 41-21 Centennial Conference loss in Bethlehem last Saturday. Gettysburg led 7-0 when senior Aden Twer hauled in a 62-yard touchdown pass from junior Zach Miller on the game's first play from scrimmage, but the Greyhounds ran off the next 21 points and never trailed the rest of the way. Sophomore tailback Kyle Wigley rushed for 98 yards and a touchdown for the Bullets while Twer caught three passes for 72 yards. Miller threw for 221 yards on 18-of-29 passing, and he also rushed for 58 yards on 21 carries. Freshman linebacker Chris Miller finished with 12 tackles for the Bullets, who were outgained 508-459.

Dickinson suffered a 41-3 loss to Muhlenberg in Allentown last Saturday. The Mules, who outgained the Red Devils 506-185, broke the game open with a 21-point second quarter to assume a 28-3 halftime advantage. Junior receiver Devin Gaby caught three passes for 78 yards for Dickinson while freshman lineman Kevin Sherry and senior linebacker Michael Miller finished with eight tackles apiece for the Red Devils.

LAST YEAR'S MATCHUP
Quarterback Cole Ahnell rushed for 158 yards and a touchdown and passed for another TD as Dickinson topped the Bullets 23-13 in Carlisle last season. The Red Devils, who scored 20 points off turnovers, led 9-7 at halftime before opening up some breathing room in the third quarter, when they outscored the Bullets 14-0. Quarterback Kody Smith '13 paced the Bullets, passing for 130 yards and one touchdown while also rushing for 55 yards and additional TD. Linebacker Cody DiAmore led all players with 15 tackles to go with a forced fumble and a fumble recovery for the Bullets.

THE GETTYSBURG OFFENSE
The Bullets are coming off their sixth 400-yard offensive performance and have rushed for over 200 yards in all but one game this season. Sophomore tailback Kyle Wigley has led the running game with 97.4 yards per outing and 6.0 yards per carry. Junior quarterback Zach Miller has added 35.4 rushing yards per game while junior tailback Eddie Hutchins has (33.4 ypg, 5.3 ypc) has seen increased playing time in the second half of the year. Miller has also passed for 246.9 yards per game to rank 44th in Division III, and his 1,975 yards rank fifth in school history. Miller, who is also 33rd in the nation in total offense (282.3 ypg), has thrown 13 touchdowns and just five interceptions. Senior receiver Aden Twer has hauled in eight TD strikes to rank 26th in Division III, and he has racked up 30 receptions for 646 yards, averaging 21.8 yards per catch.

THE GETTYSBURG DEFENSE
Defensively, the Bullets have been paced by sophomore linebacker Kodie McNamara, who leads the team with 93 tackles and ranks 19th in Division III with 11.6 tackles per game. Senior linebacker Cody DiAmore has added 85 hits and 6.5 tackles for loss, and his 10.6 tackles per game is good for 33rd in Division III. Sophomore cornerback Brian Calatozzo leads the Bullets and ranks 28th in the nation in interceptions (0.50 ipg) while junior defensive ends Drew Winters (5.5 sacks) and A.J. Hill (8.5 tackles for loss) have been the team's top pass-rushers.

THE GETTYSBURG SPECIAL TEAMS
The Bullets have performed well on special teams, ranking 20th in Division III in kick return average (24.1 ypr). Senior Tommy LeNoir has led the return game, ranking 42nd in the nation kick return average (25.1 ypr). He has also been a major contributor on offense from his wing back position and ranks 23rd nationally in all-purpose yards (162.3 ypg). Sophomore punter Robby Fay enters Saturday's game ranked 25th in D3, averaging 39.8 yards per attempt, while junior kicker Matt Perkins has gone 26-for-29 on extra point and 5-of-10 on field goals, including 3-for-4 from beyond 30 yards.

SCOUTING DICKINSON
Offensively, the Red Devils have been rush-heavy, posting 206.2 yards per game and 12 touchdowns on the ground against only 115.0 yards per game and five TDs through the air. Sophomore running back Shawn Wilson leads Dickinson with 84.2 rushing yards per game and four touchdowns while junior quarterback Cole Ahnell has run for 73.9 yards per outing and five TDs. The team's leading receivers are senior tight end Todd Smolinsky (21 catches, two TDs, 31.6 ypg) and senior receiver Colin Rodgers (20 receptions, 1 TD, 30.5 ypg). Senior linebacker Michael Miller leads the team with 79 tackles, including 4.5 for loss, while sophomore safety Jake Myers has contributed 60 stops. Sophomore Mark Manganaro and freshman James Ward have each averaged over 20 yards per kick return while junior Adam Kaminski has also given the special teams a solid performer, converting all 19 of his extra-point attempts and 5 of 7 field goals, including a season-long 41-yarder.
