Brigid Behan (Newport, R.I./Portsmouth Abbey) scored one goal apiece and the Gettysburg College women's soccer team picked up a 2-0 non-conference victory at Susquehanna University Wednesday evening.
Playing their third match in five days, the Bullets (5-3-1) outshot Susquehanna 19-3 while earning their sixth shutout of the season. Junior
Eliza Gray (West Orange, N.J./Columbia) needed to make only one save to earn her fourth clean sheet of the year and the 20th of her career.
Jordyn Slocum made six saves for the Crusaders (3-7-1).
Gettysburg outshot Susquehanna 10-0 in the first half, but it was a scoreless match until Brady supplied the Bullets with all the scoring they would need. In the 35th minute, she took a feed from sophomore
Hannah Theurer (Darnestown, Md./Northwestr) and chipped in a shot to the keeper's left for her second goal in three matches. The Bullets carried a 1-0 lead into halftime intermission.
Gray preserved the Bullets' one-goal lead with a save in the 64th minute. Then on the team's seventh shot of the second half, Behan headed home her first goal of the season on a scramble in front of the net to set the final score. Junior

Gettysburg continues its season on Saturday, when it visits Haverford College at 1 p.m. in a Centennial Conference tilt and a rematch of the conference semifinals in each of the last two seasons.
