Box Score GETTYSBURG, Pa. – Five players recorded double-figure digs to boost Gettysburg past Susquehanna 3-2 in a non-conference match up Wednesday night inside Bream Gym. 
Gettysburg (10-9) won the opening two sets 25-13 and 25-18 before Susquehanna (14-7) came up with 25-12 and 25-19 wins. The Bullets had enough left in the tank to pull off a 15-13 victory in the decisive fifth set. 
The hosts trailed early in both of the first two sets before pulling together runs to win the frames. The script flipped in set three as Susquehanna fell behind 4-1 prior to a 12-2 run that helped the visitors get back into the match. The Crusaders never trailed in the fourth set on the way to tying the contest. 
The Bullets scored the first two points of the fifth set and went ahead 7-4 on a kill by senior 
Courtney Morrow (Greenlawn, N.Y./Harborfields). Susquehanna scored the next three points and eventually secured a 10-9 lead following an ace by Maggie O'Hearn.

Maddie Weikert (Gettysburg, Pa./Gettysburg). Following back-to-back attack errors by the Crusaders the score stood at 12-10 in favor of the Bullets. Susquehanna pulled even at 12-12, but Gettysburg scored three of the next four points with a tipped ball by junior 
Laura Bergin (Charlottesville, Va./Western Albemarle) arcing over the blockers' fingertips and hitting just inside the line for the winning point. 
Gettysburg piled up a season-high 108 digs in the victory. Sophomore 
Katherine Gilbert (Baltimore, Md./Notre Dame Prep) tied a personal best with 27 digs, while senior 
Alesha Miller (Hanover, Pa./New Oxford) posted a season-best 19 digs. 
Sophomore 
Stephanie Blair (Chester, N.J./West Morris Mendham) totaled 19 digs to go with 32 assists. Bergin finished with 13 kills and 16 digs, while senior 
Hannah Bentz (Shrewsbury, Pa./Susquehannock) tallied 13 digs. Sophomore 
Lauren Godshalk (West Chester, Pa./Bishop Shanahan) recorded nine kills and four blocks. 
O'Hearn finished with 36 assists and 20 digs, while Erin Byrne totaled 19 kills, 12 digs, and seven blocks. 
Gettysburg resumes its Centennial Conference schedule at Swarthmore College on Saturday, Oct. 10, at 1 p.m.
