Samantha Wright (Darien, Conn./Darien) recorded her second career hat trick to lead Gettysburg College to a 5-0 win at Bryn Mawr College in Centennial Conference field hockey action Saturday afternoon.
Gettysburg (5-6, 3-3 CC) held Bryn Mawr (0-12, 0-7 CC) without a shot or a penalty corner in the contest. Wright provided the opening goal in the 15th minute and added her second on a pass from senior
Kit Towers (Midlothian, Va./St. Anne's Belfield) just 57 seconds later.

Hannah Fitzgerald's (Larchmont, N.Y./Mamaroneck) sixth goal of the season with 1:37 left in the first half.
Wright completed her hat trick in the 51st minute when Fitzgerald carried the ball into the scoring area and slipped a pass to her teammate. The score was Wright's team-best and career-high 10th of the campaign. Fitzgerald's assist was the 21st of her career, which moved her into a tie for second in program history.
Sophomore
Victoria Umbach (Bridgewater, N.J./Bridgewater-Raritan) capped the day with her fourth goal of the year with just over a minute remaining.
Junior
Haley Mowery (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Northern) returned to the cage after missing the last two games due to injury. She played the entire first half to earn the victory.
