Gettysburg (4-5, 2-3 CC) dominated play from the start, out-shooting Swarthmore (4-9, 0-6 CC) 10-2 in the first half alone. The Bullets put two shots in goal in the first 10 minutes before Wright struck in the 19th minute, tipping in a strike by freshman

The Garnet manufactured the first offense in the final stanza when Jordyn Bell tapped in a cross from Katherine Ianni in the 43rd minute. Gettysburg didn't take long to answer as junior

Wright added some insurance with six minutes left to play when senior

Kathleen Carmichael cut the deficit to one with a goal just over a minute later, but the Bullets kept the Garnet away from the cage in the final minutes to secure the win.
