THE COACHES
Barry Streeter enters his 38th season at the helm of Gettysburg's football program. Streeter is the longest-tenured active coach in Division III and his 190 wins place him sixth among active coaches. Streeter has led Gettysburg to three Centennial Conference championships (1983-85) and he has twice been named CC Coach of the Year. In 1985, he led the Bullets to the only undefeated regular season in school history (9-0-1) and an appearance in the national semifinals. Streeter is a 1971 graduate of Lebanon Valley and he is a member of the Dutchmen's Hall of Fame.

Tim Launtz is in his sixth season at the helm of his alma mater. Launtz is 21-32 and guided Juniata to the ECAC South Bowl in 2013, marking the program's first postseason appearance in four decades. Launtz was an assistant coach at Juniata for 15 years prior to becoming head coach, including six seasons under current Gettysburg offensive coordinator Kevin Burke. Launtz is a 1980 graduate of Juniata.

THE SERIES
Gettysburg holds a 21-9 edge in the series with Juniata. The Bullets are 13-6 all-time against the Eagles in Gettysburg, including 4-0 as members of the Centennial Conference. Gettysburg has won eight of the nine games since Juniata joined the conference in 2007.

LAST MEETING
Gettysburg survived a comeback bid by Juniata thanks to a 39-yard touchdown heave by Sam McDermott '16 to Tyler Frazee '19 with 19 seconds left to give the visiting Bullets a 30-25 decision. The Orange and Blue broke out to a 17-0 lead before back-to-back touchdown passes from Hank Coyne to Kirby Breault put Juniata on the board. Jordan Kelso '17 hauled in a career-long 71-yard touchdown, but the Eagles struck in the final minute of the first half with another scoring toss from Coyne to Breault. A pair of field goals gave the hosts a 25-24 lead with just over one minute remaining in the game. Sitting on third-and-10, McDermott threw over the top of the secondary to find Frazee for the game-winning score. McDermott finished with 439 yards of total offense, gaining 90 on 15 carries and posting 349 through the air. Kelso posted a career-best 177 yards on seven catches. Kodie McNamara '16 totaled a dozen tackles, including two for a loss. Coyne finished 26-for-45 for 404 yards, while Breault managed 13 receptions for 246 yards.

SCOUTING JUNIATA
Juniata has opened its season with a pair of wins, including a 42-21 decision over Dickinson last Saturday. After Dickinson tied the game, Juniata jumped back in front on a 78-yard heave from Hank Coyne to Kirby Breault. Breault added a 36-yard yard touchdown reception in the second quarter during a 28-0 run by Juniata. Coyne finished 13-of-23 for 280 yards and three touchdowns, while Breault hauled in five passes for 171 yards. David Vidovic added a pair of scores and 59 yards rushing. TWO HEADS ARE BETTER THAN ONE
Through the first two games of the year, quarterbacks Justin Davidov and Danny Thompson have seen an even split of time on the playing field.
