Caroline Sequeira (Millington, N.J./Watchung Hills) recorded 25 digs for Gettysburg College (13-12, 4-5 CC) in a 3-0 (25-17, 25-23, 25-11) setback at the hands of seventh-ranked Johns Hopkins University (26-0, 9-0 CC) in a Centennial Conference contest inside Bream Gym Wednesday night.

Match Summary
- Set 1: Johns Hopkins came out swinging for a 5-0 lead, but Gettysburg quickly matched the Blue Jays and jumped in front 13-12 on a kill by senior Shannon Fletcher (Severna Park, Md./Severna Park), forcing a timeout by the visitors. Johns Hopkins came out of the timeout with five-straight points and never looked back on the way to the win. The Blue Jays hit .486 (18-0-37) in the opening set.
- Set 2: The Bullets battled throughout the second set, forcing 11 ties and six lead changes. Gettysburg led 7-3 on an ace before the visitors rattled off a 10-1 run to gain the upper-hand. The hosts refused the back down, and managed to take a 19-18 lead on a kill by senior Sierra Conboy (Ventura, Calif./Ventura). Five ties would follow until Bliss connected for back-to-back kills to seal the win.
- Set 3: Johns Hopkins controlled the third set, jumping out with the first four points and gaining a 12-5 lead on a Gettysburg service error. The Bullets closed the gap to 14-10, but the Blue Jays took over at the net, picking up their final 11 points on eight kills and three blocks.

- Sequeira recorded her sixth 20-dig outing of the season and the 21st of her career. The senior also climbed past Shannan Smith '06 for 16th on Gettysburg's career list with 1,083 digs.
- Johns Hopkins posted a hitting percentage of .352 – the highest against the Bullets this season. The Blue Jays came into the match ranked second in the country in hitting percentage.
- With its 26th-straight win, Johns Hopkins is one shy of Gettysburg's Centennial Conference record for consecutive victories. The Bullets won 27 consecutive contests in 2003.
