How It Happened…
  • First Half: It was all offensive in the opening half for the Bullets as they pounded four goals and 11 shots. Just 2:26 into the match, Gettysburg punched in its first goal off a penalty kick from senior captain Priddy. She nailed the shot into the upper left post to notch her first career goal. The second goal came 10 minutes later as freshman Naomi Joseph (South Orange, N.J./Columbia) crossed a pass from the left side of the field and headed off a Bryn Mawr defender, landing right at Mukus' feet. Muskus settled the ball, made a quick move on the defender and shot right into the back of the net to make it 2-0. The Bullets tacked on its third goal shortly thereafter as Priddy chipped a great pass to Cenatiempo as she beat out the defender to tally into the upper right side of the net for her first goal of the game. Cenatiempo produced her final goal at the 22:17 marker when she dribbled down the right side, juking out the goalkeeper and then defenders to hit the ball perfectly into the lower left of the cage.
  • Second Half: A goalie miscue by Bryn Mawr set up Klatt for the game's final goal at the 70th minute marker. Hasen went to clear the ball, but it went right to Klatt who dribbled past defenders and shot into the lower left corner of the cage. Bryn Mawr was unable to break past the Bullets defense as they only took one shot and one corner kick in the final half.
By the Numbers
  • Gettysburg has tallied six shutouts and registered its fourth straight with the victory today.
  • Dynamic duo of Mukus and Cenatiempo have accumulated 35 combined points for the Orange and Blue this season, setting new career highs for both.
