How it Happened
First Half: The first shot of the game didn't come until seven minutes in, but it worked in Gettysburg's favor as Mazzone dribbled into the box and centered the ball into the right area for the tap-in by Lerman. The Bullets kept pounding at the frame as the team took a total of 13 shots, but were unable to connect as TCNJ's defense saved seven. The Lions pulled the equalizer at the 36-minute marker as Justin Dominique headed the ball in, making it 1-1 at intermission.
Second Half: The Lions pulled ahead seven minutes into the half as a 20-yard free kick by James Pike grounded into the left net. The Bullets were kept at bay as the offense only saw four opportunities at the frame in the final half.
