Gettysburg within a point at 23-22 following two aces and an assist to junior Faith Adams (Hillsborough, N.J./Hillsborough), but the Cougars capped the opening frame with the final two points.
Set 2: Gettysburg never trailed, although Kean came back to tie the score 10-10 on a hitting error by Stranick. The junior rebounded with a kill and back-to-back aces pushed the margin back to three. The Bullets broke away down the stretch with a 6-2 run to take a 22-16 advantage. Higgins and Stranick closed out the win with a kill and ace, respectively.

Match Summary
Set 1: Moravian snuck by the Bullets late in the opening set. Gettysburg led by as many as three in the early going and was ahead 14-12 following a kill by Higgins. The Greyhounds went off on a 7-2 run to take the lead for the first time. Stranick tied the contest with back-to-back kills, but a service error by the Bullets was followed up by an ace by Dreisbach to seal the two-point decision.
Set 2: In a repeating storyline from the first set, Gettysburg jumped in front early only to see Moravian rebound and take command in the late stages of the set. This time, however, the Bullets recovered quickly and fought off a pair of set points. Higgins followed up a bad set by Kauffman with a kill to close the frame.
Set 3: The Greyhounds led 12-10 before four-straight kills by Kuba-McCoy and Conboy put the Bullets in front for good. Two timeouts by Moravian failed to stem the tide and Gettysburg grabbed a six-point advantage (21-15) on a block by sophomores Ingrid Bayer (Falls Church, Va./Bishop O'Connell) and Jordyn Horowitz (East Brunswick, N.J./East Brunswick). The lead remained five until the end of the set.
Set 4: Gettysburg opted to get on the bus a little sooner by walloping a match-high 44.4 percent of its attack attempts for kills. The Bullets ran off an 8-0 run to seize control early and maintained a double-figure advantage for the remainder of the match.

Where the Series Stands Now
Gettysburg secured its third-straight win over Moravian and improved to 17-2 against the Greyhounds in the all-time series.
