Maeve Regan (Breezy Point, N.Y./Poly Prep) scored her second career goal in the 37th minute, lifting the Gettysburg College women's soccer team to a 1-0 Centennial Conference (CC) victory at Dickinson College Wednesday night in Carlisle.

How it Happened
First Half: Gettysburg fired two shots in the opening five minutes, with Muskus being turned aside by goalkeeper Sophia Kavulich and senior
Molly O'Shea (Reading, Pa./Wilson) missed high. The two teams exchanged shots, with neither on goal until Gettysburg broke through at the 37-minute marker. Maeve netted her second career goal to put the Bullets ahead 1-0. Senior
Paige Merz (Kensington, Md./St. John's College) looked to add another tally as she took the final shot on goal with five minutes to go in the half, but Kavulich made the stop.
Second Half: It was a low shooting affair for both sides in the final half, with Gettysburg holding the 3-2 edge. The first shot attempt came from Dickinson's Macey Mento that went wide at the 52:05 marker, followed by Bedell's two minutes later. The Bullets stingy defense held the Red Devils without a shot on goal for the whole 90 minutes to claim their eighth victory and sixth shutout of the season.
