The two rivals went into halftime with a 0-0 deadlock, with Gettysburg finishing with the 8-5 edge in shots.
Second Half: Both teams turned it up on the offensive end, combining 23 shots in the second half. Gettysburg struck in the 71st minute as Gaudian drilled the goal off a Bedell pass to make it 1-0. Seven minutes later, the Diplomats answered back as Meg O'Callahan scored off a penalty kick to tie it up at 1-1. The Bullets looked to regain the lead as they notched four shots with three on goal in the final eight minutes, but Emily Senko stopped them all, sending the game into overtime.
Overtime: In the first 1:17 of overtime, Bedell had a look at the net, but her shot sailed wide, which ended up being the only shot by the Bullets in the first overtime. Cunningham saved a shot 35 seconds later to keep it tied and neither team was able to produce a goal, sending the game into double overtime. Bedell posted the team's only shot once again, but it was blocked. Franklin & Marshall attempted three shots as each one went wide to finish with a 1-1 draw.
