How it Happened
First Half: The Bullets first shot of the game was put into the back of the net by Muskus five minutes into the opening half for the early 1-0 lead. Lebanon Valley hoped to tie the game up as Darrian Berkheimer took a shot on goal that ended up being saved by Cunningham with 29:29 on the clock. Gettysburg controlled possession for the majority of the half and outshot Lebanon Valley 11-3 to take a 1-0 lead at halftime.
Second Half: Gettysburg struck again early as O'Shea dished a pass to Muskus for her second tally of the game 2:42 into the second half. The Dutchmen threatened to post a pair of goals at the 56th and 74th minute, respectively, both of which were turned aside by Cunningham. The stingy defense did not let up, and the Orange and Blue claimed the 2-0 shutout.
