Game Summary
- First Quarter: The opening 15 minutes was a battle for field position with neither team firing off a shot. Stevenson turned in the only penalty corner at 7:14.
- Second Quarter: Gettysburg went on the attack early in the second period, but Barker stonewalled the Bullets at every turn, racking up three saves in the first two minutes. Besselman registered her first save of the game on a shot by Macy Kosanovich in the 28th minute, but the ensuing scrum for the loose ball set up a penalty corner for the hosts. The Mustangs converted off the pass as Braziel blasted a shot past the Gettysburg keeper with just over two minutes left before halftime. Besselman preserved the one-goal deficit with a pair of stops in the final 48 seconds of the half.
- Third Quarter: The Bullets turned the tide with a dominating third quarter. Gettysburg accounted for all 11 shots in the frame and Vadinsky converted the team's first goal on a short pass from Fraiman 2:21 in. Beginning in the 41st minute, the visitors forced seven consecutive penalty corners with the last setting up a rocket shot by Bertrando from the left wing for a 2-1 lead.
- Fourth Quarter: The Bullets carried the momentum into the final quarter with five penalty corners and 10 shots in the first three minutes. The final two attempts were true with Vadinsky assisting to Bertrando on another corner and Fraiman scoring on a slick crossing pass by sophomore Gaby Markunas (Lewisburg, Pa./Lewisburg) just 38 seconds later for a 4-1 lead. The Mustangs sliced the deficit to two on a goal by Riley Sullivan in the 50th minute. Gettysburg controlled the final 10 minutes of play with Besselman notching her final save on a shot by Kosanovich in the 57th minute.
