In a battle of top-25 teams, No. 6 Johns Hopkins played the final 72 minutes with a player advantage after an early red card and was finally able to capitalize to hand No. 21 Gettysburg its first blemish of the season, 1-0.

Kevin Muhic (Moorestown, N.J./Moorestown) made five saves to lead the Bullets.

Chase Sempervive (New Egypt, N.J./New Egypt) had three shots for Gettysburg, including one of two quality looks in search of the equalizer.

• Aidan Dunphy scored the game's lone goal for the Blue Jays.
THE REST OF THE STORY
• Giulian Laudisa lined up a free kick from just outside the box on the right wing and put the attempt on frame. Aidan Dunphy just got a head on the ball and put it into the left side of the net for a 1-0 lead at the 75:09 mark.
• Gettysburg's best look at forcing a draw came on a
Chase Sempervive shot-and-save in the 81st minute.
