A penalty stroke goal by
Jenna Vadinsky (Bridgewater, N.J./Bridgewater-Raritan) and tally by
Morgan Cherry (Phillipsburg, N.J/Phillipsburg) kept the Bullets in the game, but Washington outscored Gettysburg, 6-2.

FOR THE FOES
• Kat Esposito scored twice and had one assist for the Shorewomen.
THE REST OF THE STORY
• Kat Esposito netted her first goal in the 13th minute to open up scoring, putting a ball in from the right baseline.
• In the 29th minute, Esposito grabbed a piece of a rebound and was able to knock it in for the Shorewomen's second goal.
• Julianna Sterling picked up a loose ball from Kat Epsosito on the wing and found the back of the net in the 35th minute to give Washington a 3-0 advantage.

Jenna Vadinsky's penalty stroke goal added the Bullets' first tally in the 44th minute.

Morgan Cherry made it a one-goal game in the 48th minute, collecting a ball from
Andie Aloi (Towson, Md./Towson) and redirecting it into the goal.
• 24 seconds later, Jillian Brejnik broke away and drove down from the top to dodge the keeper and bring the Shorewomen back to a two-point lead.
• In the 55th minute, Julianna Sterling netted her second goal of the game, assisted by Tatum Schatt, as she hit the ball through the Bullets' defense.
• The final goal of the game came with 56 seconds remaining, when Kendal Thomson received a ball off a corner and hit it in from the top of the arc.
THE INSIDE STORY
• Washington held advantages in shots 14-7, while Gettysburg had the edge in corners 10-7.

Emilia Saccento (Scotch Plains, N.J./Scotch Plains Fanwood) made six saves for the Bullets.
