THE SKINNY STORY
Johns Hopkins, ranked eighth in the latest d3football.com poll, scored 26 points in the second quarter to open up a 40-7 lead en route to a 60-7 win over Gettysburg.
THE LEADERS

Chris Singleton, Jr. (Catonsville, Md./Georgetown Prep) led the Bullets with three tackles and two more blocked kicks.
FOR THE FOES
• Quinn Revere led the Blue Jays with eight catches for 123 yards and four first-half touchdowns.
• Andrew Rich ran for 135 yards and two scores on 16 carries.
THE REST OF THE STORY
• Josh Polce capped a seven-play, 63-yard drive on Johns Hopkins' first possession with a six-yard touchdown grab wide-open in the front-right corner of the end zone for a 7-0 lead with 9:32 showing.
• Just over four minutes later, Quinn Revere hauled in a 15-yard touchdown on the other side of the end zone to cap a five-play, 42-yard march.
• On third down from the Johns Hopkins 9,
Rocco Abdinoor (Edgewood, Md./St. Mary's Annapolis) had a wide-open right side and took off for a touchdown to make it a 14-7 game with 13 seconds remaining in the first quarter.
• Revere nabbed his second score of the game with a 17-yard touchdown with 6:46 remaining in the second quarter.
Chris Singleton, Jr. recorded his fifth blocked kick of the year on the PAT attempt.
• After a fake punt that was stopped, Johns Hopkins took over at the Bullets 26 with 4:42 to play. Two plays later, Spencer Uggla broke through the middle for a 26-yard touchdown and 27-7 lead with 4:23 showing.
• Two more Revere touchdown grabs in the final two minutes of the half pushed the lead to 40-7. He scored on an 18-yard pass play before hauling in a 10-yard score. The PAT on the final touchdown was once again blocked by Singleton up the middle.
• Andrew Rich tacked on two of the Blue Jays' three second-half touchdowns.
