Gettysburg and 20th-ranked Franklin & Marshall played an even contest in which both teams scored a second-half goal for a 1-all draw.
THE LEADERS

Jack Carroll (Leonia, N.J./Bergen Catholic) scored the goal for the Bullets.

• Isaac Mintz tallied the goal for the Diplomats.
THE REST OF THE STORY
• In the 59th minute,
Matt Tennant (Yardley, Pa./Pennsbury) put a throw-in into the box. After the ball bounced off several players, including the goalkeeper, from both teams,
Jack Carroll was on the back post to clean it up and knock the ball just inside the right post for a 1-0 lead.
• An Isaac Mintz free kick from the right side just outside the box in the 74th minute, headed towards a few teammates on the back post but made its way all the way through and inside the post to even the game.
THE INSIDE STORY
• Franklin & Marshall finished with a 13-11 edge in shots that included a 7-4 advantage in the second half.
• The Diplomats also had a 6-5 edge in corner kicks.

Kevin Muhic (Moorestown, N.J./Moorestown) made four saves for Gettysburg while Sam Altman Farrell had three stops on the other end of the field.
