THE SKINNY STORY
Gettysburg rallied from a 20-point deficit midway through the second quarter with a 33-3 run to take a double-digit lead before one final McDaniel run tied the game in the fourth quarter. The Bullets used a late run to close out a 68-62 road victory.

Mackenzie Szlosek (Holtsville, N.Y./Sachem East) led the Bullets with a career-best 24 points to go with eight rebounds.

• Elaina Beckett accounted for half of the Green Terror's points, scoring 31 points and adding six rebounds and two blocks.

Emily Violante (Easton, Pa./Easton Area) hit the second of two free throws with 6:46 to play in the first quarter. Two
Mackenzie Szlosek free throws closed the deficit to 12-9 with 1:45 to play but an Elaina Beckett turnaround and Lillian Overcash second-chance triple from the top of the key made it a 17-9 game after one quarter.
• Leading 19-13, Bri Floyd hit a 3-pointer with 8:33 to play in the second quarter, sparking a 14-0 run.
Caitlyn Priore (Holland, Pa./Germantown Academy) snapped a four-minute scoring drought with a driving layup at the 4:47 mark to make it a 33-15 game. The Bullets, however, did not allow another point the rest of the half, closing to within 33-24 at the
• Gettysburg carried the momentum into the second half, outscoring McDaniel 22-3 in the third quarter to take a 46-36 lead after 30 minutes. Szlosek scored 10 points during the period. The Bullets shot 10 of 16 in the quarter while the Green Terror hit just one of its 13 shots.
• A Beckett 3-pointer and
AB Holsinger (Crozet, Va./Langley) jumper made it a 48-39 game in the first 40 seconds of the fourth quarter before McDaniel scored the next nine to draw the hosts even with 7:01 to play. Priore snapped a four-minute scoring drought with a jumper from the wing to put the visitors back in front by two. The lead swelled back to six twice, including 56-50 with 3:48 remaining. A Beckett three-point play with 2:10 remaining off a steal in the backcourt capped an 8-2 burst to draw the game even once again. Szlosek canned a triple from the left corner to put Gettysburg back in front on the ensuing possession. A Priore layup and single free throw stretched the lead to six. Beckett banked home a triple with 20.2 seconds left to pull the hosts within 64-62 before Szlosek hit both free throws with 17.7 seconds showing, making it a two-possession game once again. The defense forced a turnover and Szlosek hit two more free throws with 7.3 ticks remaining to seal the victory.
THE INSIDE STORY
• Caitlin Priore and
Shinya Lee (Rochester, N.Y./Holderness Prep School) – the reigning CC Player of the Week – finished with three blocked shots each. Prior added nine points and six rebounds.
