SWARTHMORE, Pa. – No. 38 Swarthmore College (7-3) opened the Centennial Conference schedule with a 9-0 win over Gettysburg College (5-2) on Saturday afternoon.
 
Swarthmore opened the match by dropping just six total games in a doubles sweep. Half of Gettysburg's points came at the second flight where freshman Michael Fellman (Rockville, Md./Thomas S. Wootton) and junior Matt Rau (Castle Pines, Colo./Regis Jesuit) dropped an 8-3 decision to Phil Rehwinkel and Josiah Myers-Lipton.
 
Sophomore Michael Zayneh (Hilton Head Island, S.C./Heritage Academy) and senior Max Levy (Orinda, Calif./Miramonte) led the Bullets with five points each in singles action. Zayneh dropped a 6-1, 6-4 decision to Myers-Lipton at No. 3, while Levy battled Minki Kim to a 6-2, 6-3 setback at No. 6.
 
Gettysburg hosts Lebanon Valley College on Wednesday, March 23, at 3:30 p.m.
