Gettysburg, Pa. - Visiting Washington College won two of three doubles matches and five of six singles contests on Saturday to pick up a 7-2 victory over Gettysburg College in Centennial Conference men's tennis action at the Bullets Tennis Courts.

Freshman
Michael Fellman (Rockville, Md./Thomas S. Wootton) was a two-time winner for the Bullets (7-6, 1-4 CC), posting victories at No. 2 doubles and No. 2 singles.

The Shoremen (9-5, 4-1 CC) claimed a 2-1 advantage after doubles action with wins at the No. 1 and No. 3 flights. The visitors won both of those matches by identical 8-2 score lines.

Fellman and junior
Matt Rau (Castle Rock, Col./Regis Jesuit) secured Gettysburg's first point of the day with an 8-6 triumph at No. 2 doubles. The duo now sports an 11-2 overall record on the season.

Washington clinched the match by winning five of the six singles contests including four in straight sets.

Fellman earned the Bullets' lone victory in singles action with a 6-2, 6-2 decision at No. 2 while lifting his record to 13-2 in singles competition this season.

Sophomore
Michael Zayneh (Hilton Head Island, S.C./Heritage Academy) took his opponent to three sets at No. 3 singles but ultimately fell in a 1-6, 6-1, 2-6 setback.

Gettysburg hosts Franklin & Marshall College on Wednesday in a Centennial Conference match starting at 4:00 p.m. at the Bullets Tennis Courts.
