THE SKINNY STORY
Gettysburg and Marymount remained close in all three sets of the match, but Gettysburg was able to complete the sweep, 3-0.
THE LEADERS

Kylie Ulrich (Lancaster, Pa./Hempfield) registered 14 kills for the Bullets.

Chelsea O'Leary (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Cumberland Valley) contributed 23 digs and the game-winning ace.

Kendall Erpenbeck (San Jose, Calif./Prospect) added 22 assists to the Bullets' offense.
FOR THE FOES
• Elissa Munsterman led the Saints in kills with 15.
• Sydney Sands had 18 assists.
THE REST OF THE STORY
• The first of three close sets contained nine ties, with neither team leading by more than five points. From a 12-all tie, the Bullets were able to pull out on a 9-4 run that gave them the edge, 21-16. The Saints remained in it, going 7-0 to put them in the lead, 23-21. Two kills by
Catherine Holtz (Chester, N.J/West Morris Mendham) tied the score again, 23-all, and two attack errors for the Saints gave the Bullets the first set win.
• The Saints controlled the first half of the second set, holding a lead as big as six points at 15-9. The Bullets went on a 7-1 run to tie the score at 16-all, before pulling ahead at 20-18. Marymount was able to tie the score at 20-all, and Elissa Munsterman and
Zanze Kuba-McCoy (Somerville, N.J./Somerville) each contributed two kills to bring the score to 22-all. An attack error by the Saints gave Gettysburg the edge, and
Kendall Erpenbeck aced the ball twice to win the second set for the Bullets.
• The third set again saw the teams starting out very close, the two teams go neck-and-neck for the first 19 points, but the Bullets pulled ahead with a 14-9 lead. An 8-3 run for the Saints evened the score at 17-all, and an 8-8 back-and-forth resulted in eight more ties to push the set past 25 points, culminating in a 25-all score. A kill by each team made it 26-all, and another kill by
Mary Huegel (Marlboro, N.J/Colts Neck) put the Bullets at game point.
Chelsea O'Leary got up to serve, and aced the game-winning ball for the Bullets.
THE INSIDE STORY
• Marymount had the advantage in kills 44-41 and digs 72-70.
• Gettysburg had the edge in blocks 7-3.
