Gettysburg broke a scoreless deadlock in the 62nd minute before adding a late insurance goal to defeat Ursinus 2-0 in the conference opener for both teams.

THE REST OF THE STORY
• On a ball played over the top in the 62nd minute, the Gettysburg offense settled the ball in the offensive third and it eventually made its way to
Jack Carroll, who weaved through the defense before finishing in the lower-left corner for the game's first goal.
• In a game that turned physical featuring six yellow cards in the second half, a red card in the 79th minute led to a penalty kick attempt for the Bullets.
Chase Sempervive converted the team's fourth PK of the year to add an insurance tally.
