THE SKINNY STORY
After dropping the first set, Gettysburg rallied to win the next three and beat their first Centennial Conference opponent of the season.
THE LEADERS

Kylie Ulrich (Lancaster, Pa./Hempfield) led in kills for the Bullets with 16.

Catherine Holtz (Chester, N.J./West Morris Mendham) tallied 10 kills and one block.
•
Kendall Erpenbeck (San Jose, Calif./Prospect) had 23 assists and three aces.
THE FOES
• Elise Perry registered 13 kills and five blocks.
THE REST OF THE STORY
• The Bullets ran out to an early 18-8 lead over the Owls in the first set, but Bryn Mawr's defense managed several crucial kills and capitalized on Bullets' errors to go on a monster 14-point run to make the score 22-18 in favor of the Owls. Gettysburg managed four more points on the set, but a kill and two more Bullets errors won the first for Bryn Mawr.
• The two teams stayed within a few points early in the second set, with the Bullets maintaining a slight edge at 8-6. Their lead would only increase as Gettysburg went on a 9-1 run to make the score 17-7. Bryn Mawr managed one more point to make the score 17-8, before the Bullets went on another huge eight point run to close out the set, capped by a kill from
Zanze Kuba-McCoy (Somerville, N.J./Somerville).
• The third set was competitive, containing five ties. After a 4-all tie, the two teams took turns going on scoring runs. Bryn Mawr scored five consecutive points before a service error gave the Bullets an opening. Gettysburg then went on their own five-point run to knot the score at 9-all. The two teams went nine apiece to bring the set score to 18-all, but Gettysburg carved out a 21-18 lead with two kills and one ace. Bryn Mawr managed two more points on kills, but Gettysburg maintained their lead to win the second set 25-20.
• The final set saw an early 3-all draw before the Bullets streaked ahead on a 13-3 run to make the score 16-6. A Bullets' service error interrupted their progress momentarily, but they captured the next six points to make the score 22-7. Bryn Mawr scored one final point on a kill, but the Bullets continued their push. A kill by
Zanze Kuba-McCoy brought them to match point, and she blocked Bryn Mawr for the match win.
THE INSIDE STORY
• Gettysburg had the advantage in kills 54-30 and digs 49-46.

Sophie Nasir (Covina, Calif./St. Lucy's Priory) had 20 assists, five digs, and one block.
