• A penalty goal from
Molly O'Shea (Reading Pa./Wilson) was the only tally of the game until two second-half goals by Swarthmore gave them the win.

FOR THE FOES
• Amelia Mounts found the net for the Garnet late in the second half.
• Kim Kockenmeister broke the tie with the final goal of the game.
THE REST OF THE STORY
• After a Swarthmore foul in the 10th minute,
Molly O'Shea made a penalty kick attempt. Her goal would be the only goal scored in the half.
• A scoreless second half was broken up when Keren Maze found Amelia Mounts on the left side for the Garnet's first tally of the game in the 83rd minute of play.
• Kim Kockenmeister followed up only six minutes later with a goal off a solo drive up the left side to put the Garnet in the lead, 2-0.
THE INSIDE STORY
• Swarthmore finished with a narrow advantage in shots 12-11, while Gettysburg led in corner kicks 2-1.
