Michael Zayneh (Portsmouth, Ohio/Heritage Academy) won at first singles and second doubles, and clinched the match for the Bullets.
THE REST OF THE STORY
• The team of
Adam Contract (Westfield, N.J./Westfield) and
Owen Kutlu (Mendham, N.J./West Morris Mendham) won their No. 1 doubles match 8-2, while the No. 2 team of Zayneh
Matt Porreca took an 8-5 victory.
JP Damare (Raleigh, N.C./Cardinal Gibbons) and
Connor McPartland (Furlong, Pa./Central Bucks East) rounded out doubles competition with an easy 8-0 win at third doubles.
• Zayneh won 6-2, 6-1 at first singles to clinch the match.
Ben O'Connor-Skloot (Dobbs Ferry, N.Y./Dobbs Ferry) won at second singles by the same score. Kutlu took a third singles win 6-1, 6-4.
• McPartland, Porreca, and Damare each won their fourth, fifth, and sixth singles matches, respectively, in just one set.
