Gettysburg won all but one match to easily defeat Catholic in their spring season opener, 8-1.

Andrea Brazyte (Ronkonkoma, N.Y./Connetquot) won at first singles and doubles. Brazyte and
Avery Palandjian (Lititz, Pa./Manheim Twp.) took a 8-2 victory in doubles play before Brazyte won 6-0, 6-2 in singles competition.
THE REST OF THE STORY

Catherine Haley (Berwyn, Pa./Conestoga) and
Gillian Rozenfeld (Haddonfield, N.J./Haddonfield Memorial) swept 8-0 at second doubles.
Ellie Brignati (Rockville Centre, N.Y./Sacred Heart Academy) and
Emma Ward (Falls Church, Va./Meridan) rounded out the singles play with another 8-0 sweep at No. 3 doubles.
• Rozenfeld took an easy 6-0, 6-1 win at No. 3 singles before Palandjian won 6-0, 6-3 at No. 2 singles to clinch the match.

Eden Levkov (Summit, N.J./Summit) and
Shoshi Dondes (Pikesville, Md./Beth Tfiloh) took victories at fourth and sixth singles, respectively, to round out the match.
